I keep opening my mouth and I can't shut up!

Online, I get tap tapped tapped out.  Then I go under cover to regroup, take a deep breath, and then set on in out.

As all that hot air that I'd kept in, builds up to a momentum that makes you on the verge of IMPLODE.

However, like a balloon needs hot air, so do we all.

Not having a place to vent, or trusted confidantes of the olden days.  Long before my time.  Folks were actually called "Confidante".  It signified trust.

Unfortunately, today, we live in a bullish world where so many soldiers strive harder to raise above the increasing astronomical numbers.    They get clumsier and more aggressive.   Too much sizzle and not time to talk about how they'd like their steak:  those piranha infested waters  we dwell in online, we become too geared to 140 characters or less.

Global selling is a hard nut to crack, I would believe.  Without hard facts or knowledge yet.  Maybe I can find some information from my curiosity, would my approach really work in a global selling world.

Yes, I realize, I have watched BITCOIN and CRYPTO CURRENCY sail by, like sharks.  (SIDE NOTE:  watch "MEG" if you like movies that make JAWS look like minnows in the ocean. Great new movie out on digital streaming.)

This poor fella was being nice by asking me whether I would be interested in delivering course material for ITIL to a very large corporations' employees.  I agreed, gave him my personal email to follow up on.

See who is doing the following up here?

If you want to create a global presence, you rely on your word.

"Words are the largest revenue generator online.  Bypassing streaming, brand messaging, or any other kind.  Don't swing it like a sword.  Ignore it at your peril."                                                               Jeannette Marshall @optioneerJM

I would need the course material to review and prepare to communicate in any course hosting.

You should start a bio page on your web page that showcases your partners with their link to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, minimum.

If you want to act like a credible global organization, you have to begin behaving like one.

Local customs aside, you have to fit in to the surf curve in the social media hub vibe.  Glide in and elegantly fit in.

Bulldozing your way only hurts your credibility and potential for trustworthiness.  What you do, or do not do,  as you have promised, you will be taking a huge pay cut!

Trust is your only way in.

To opening a buyer's mind.  Be aware that trading services is a practice that has been going on in the advertising world for decades, those folks call it contra.

You trade a bargain for a bargain of equal value in either goods or services at the agreed equal value at the onset, and it is tracked and assigned to a marketing expense in your entrepreneur or business accounting.

Selling services is like being a conductor of an orchestra:  you aren't playing any instruments, and yet the tone, beat and vibe is matching your swaying movements, as leader of the vibe.

YANNO: The IMPLEMENTATION PLAN is the most critical part of any business relationship moving forward in agreement to pay or serve or manufacture or provide

Technologically, I'm ambidextrous [ had to spell check that one:  thank you GOOGLE with its Blogspot for bloggers >> to be able to right click, then backspace the underlined in red until misspelled word is highlighted in pink -> right click again } GOOGLE will give you options, you can even look up THESAURUS or SYNONYMS (words that have similar meaning)  ] and choices of words' spelling.

Technically ambidextrous?

Huh?  What does THAT mean?  I can think in abstract based on how it is being done, in my head.  The problem with that is, unless it is clarified, I assume it will follow the path that makes sense to me, unless it is spelled out.

YANNO:

Being ambidextrous also means that I can think, talk, and write at the same time.

 --> yanno, (yah, I know)

adding the technological part means I can insert a good idea that should be able to work technically.

A strong support team

is critical in moving anything forward.  Let me explain.

MEETING OF THE MINDS

Schedule a meeting of the minds i.e. whomever is responsible for answering:  "who can do that or get that done?" persons in your organization.  Obviously, it would be the top down, by level designation, then department, then by ownership, then by responsibility.

GET A BIG FLIP BOARD

Ensure you have plenty of supplies.  Get a set of flipboard+colored markers per group of five people who will be in attendance.

BREAK OUT SESSION MEMBERS

Prior to meeting, have your plan in place for segments of teams you want to be grouped together, so there is no scrambling or delays by being disorganized.  Essentially, this will establish your attendees list, then you can ensure that you have everyone's email.

Save time now, save face later.

The better organized you are for this meeting, the more likely it will be both successful and fruitful.
Who will be invited to join, will also determine its success.  By having a plan, you will likely clock in close to the time ending.

EXECUTIVE SPONSOR attendee

Top boss should be invited first > send an email to his/her Executive Assistant introducing yourself and a brief background on what will be covered.  If said CEO or OWNER is not available, you may as well cancel having any meeting and stop putting any sweat into trying to push water up hill.  It is the top boss' responsibility to be able to answer to owners, investors or shareholders how business gets done.  In fact, the company's portfolio should already itemized this to attract more money or funding.

What are YOU trying to do?

You is head honcho, meeting facilitator gets it done - designated contact on top boss' designated attendee.  Why you need this because you are trying to map out how the business gets done:  from the initial order date, who took the order, who follows up the order/ensures that it can be done?

The most successful executives I've had the pleasure of working with, don't do everything, yet they can answer intricate details about his/her business.  That is because before anyone forks over any money, as investor or financial or shareholder would tell you, sometimes they either want or they need to know some of the nitty gritty aspects of operations/delivery.

You have this meeting of the minds to map it all out in intricate detail.  Every tiny baby step or click that takes the customer from the start to the finish line.

e-COMMERCE?

You maybe think it all is ordered online from the e-commerce portion of your website.  Well, what happens before the customer CAN order your service from your website?

SCHEDULE A MEETING

Depending upon the size of your sphere of influence, you need to ensure that you have a facility to have that many people.

OFF SITE productivity

Right around the corner from me is a highway with majestic panorama views of our fields and mountains as the backdrop.  I would imagine this fabulous inn not that far that caters to the fine dining, elegant meeting setting, and even accommodations if out of town attendees are required (or everyone is flying here -- let me plan your event for 10-12 people.

START WITH THE END IN MIND

Set the target date:  date services start or item will be in the hands of the customer, agreed to or required by customer in agreement entered in for your delivery or start date of services or products to be provided.  This date NEVER moves.  If you are going to be a service oriented company, typically aligned with quality, you are going to have to stick to your commitment(s).  Your reputation demands that and your pocket book stakes everything on that commitment.

WHAT they're NOT informing you under PRIVACY

Privacy matters: what information are you releasing?

Privacy breach?

Like a lot of you out there :: information gobblers and research geniuses :: I'm "aware" that Privacy has replaced Cloud, Data, AI (artificial intelligence), etc. etc.  as the flavor of the day.

Media attention
Does serve a purpose.  In fact, if I wasn't such an avid reader and news fan, I probably wouldn't have noticed how privacy is becoming the dark horse that has reared its ugly head after the wide-spread coverage of how Facebook failed in protecting its users from privacy breaches.

Hippocratic Oath
Like doctors who graduate into practice take the Hippocratic oath meaning they will fight to maintain life over all other.  Why aren't the social media and online giants or media outlets sworn to upkeep the truth, protect its users from dissemination of their personal information and be charged with some huge fine (minimum equivalent to the monetary value they benefited from release of the information for payment on handing out that information to a third party technology organization).

Big Brother
Big Brother is alive and thriving because of our ignorance, burying our hands in the sand mentality that if we ignore it, it can't happen to us.

To think, I was mulling over a blog about going the extra mile:  you can usually get an idea of where my head's at by my tweets to be transparent.  I had been listening to a Radio Talk Show (I often listen to QR77 in Calgary, to allow it be known).  Because I knew the Host was filling in for not just one colleague, but two, I felt it was my honor to listen to him:  he did a fantastic job of floating from one genre topic to another, having three issues covered in the same day would be a challenge, never mind facilitate call ins and text messages while staying upbeat and convincing in his coverage on all three topics.  The topic was dancing around opinions on legalized cannabis (due Oct 17 2018 in Canada) and then bounced over to Privacy and then bounced over to the viral spat that will have financial ramifications to both countries ....

Publicity disaster
I never thought I'd see what was tweeted become a diplomatic event because I didn't think that people took to heart what was tweeted.  I guess, The Donald has changed that, eh?

Amazon dominates
So many of us buy from Amazon -> naively distracted by their speed of service.  Except today.  This confirmation of an order delivery showed a picture in real time from the front of my house:

La La Ti Da ::
I can see your house 24 x 7 days a week so that I can prove that you've received the order .... Not that I've had to delay their staff at the door if I don't answer the door right away or happenstance be in the back yard with my dog (often the case) to wait for my signature (like everyone else).

I guess I'm going to have to go back and dig through the agreements to see where I released the right to show them where I live and details:  I could have been sitting in those chairs with my husband.
